RJ Haney Heritage Museum is a 40 acre park that is home to the Salmon Arm Museum, the Ernie Doe Archives Room, the Heritage Village, Marjorie’s Tea Room, and also boasts 2.34 km of beautiful walking trails.  RJ Haney Heritage Museum encourages research, education and conservation of heritage property and historical sites in the Salmon Arm area.  Enjoy a guided tour of the property and its historical buildings set amongst a beautiful Shuswap setting dating back to the 1890’s – when Canada was only 23 years old!  Website:

Green Croft Gardens is a certified organic farm since 1988 and located on 20 fertile acres bordering the Shuswap River. Back then “organic” and the public’s awareness of “local” and environmental issues were far from what it is today. This led Wolfe and Gabriele to diversify into livestock, bedding plants, spelt, cut flowers, small fruits and vegetables. By trial and error they reduced their main activities to growing vegetables and small fruits.  A menagerie of animals such as chickens, turkeys, sheep, goats and of course horses still play a small role on the farm.  Most of their produce is sold at local farmers markets from Kelowna to Enderby and they cater to Wineries and restaurants as far away as Calgary, who are committed to a local, seasonal menu.  Website:

Fre Da Ro Organics is a certified organic farm focusing on ethical and natural means to raise lamb, beef, chicken, eggs and kelp meal for organic markets.  Located on a beautiful acreage next to the Shuswap River, owner Willem Roell is proud of his animals and the place they call home.  Willem is a strong advocate for organic farming, agriculture and livestock.  He has been instrumental in developing a vision and bringing the methods and infrastructure of organic farming to BC.  Come and be enlightened by Willem’s vast amounts of knowledge, friendly animals and spectacular farm

Trinity Dairies is a rural, family operated dairy farm situated in the scenic Trinity Valley between Salmon Arm and Armstrong.  The 100+ holsteins raised on Trinity Dairies’ vast farm are largely fed by crops grown by owner Ralph and his son.  Enjoy a guided tour through the farms main barn that houses these beautiful animals and learn about the milking process as it goes from the cow to farmer to market. Upon leaving you will have an appreciation for the hard work and long days that our locally owned and family operated dairy farmers endure to ensure that your family stays healthy!
